Daily flights from San Jose to Tambor on Sansa Airline or Nature Air. It’s approximately a 25 minute flight. The house is only 10 minutes from the airport.

If you rent a vehicle definitely rent one that has 4 x 4
If you drive from San Jose go west for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours to Puntarenas and take the Paquera Ferry (not the Naranjo ferry) out of Puntarenas. The ferry ride is approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Paquera take the paved road towards Tambor for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
